About Me

Kim Kochis: Hello, my name is Kim Kochis. I am a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Thanks to my military training, I was selected for employment by the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller in 1982. I have worked in three previous air traffic control facilities in New England. I was transferred to Raleigh Durham Air Traffic Control Tower in May 1995. I retired in October of 2007. I have loved horses and dogs my whole life. I honestly cannot remember a time when they were not a part of my life. My passion for horses and the desire to have a carriage driving pair led me into breeding Half-Welsh ponies. I am in the process of training them. I also love to crochet and sew. I have decided to teach in my studio above my garage. I welcome visitors.
